SEATTLE RE-SIGN DEFENSIVE DUO

Major League Soccer (MLS) football giants Seattle Sounders have made the decision to re-sign two players. Reigning MLS Cup finalists Seattle Sounders have boosted their squad ahead of the 2021 season after they re-signed dedender Jimmy Medranda and goalkeeper Steve Cleveland. Seattle Sounders signed the two players last year and they have decided to re-sign them for the new season.


Seattle Sounders confirmed this new development via an official statement released earlier this week. Seattle Sounders general manager Garth Lagerwaysaid the two players will provide the team with quality depth ahead of the new campaign.

WEST HAM LODGE BID FOR STRIKER

West Ham United have submitted a serious proposal in a bid to sign free agent GrazianoPelleto provide cover for the East London club in attack following the departure of Sebastien Haller. French-born Ivorian international striker Sebastien Haller has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Ajax Amsterdam until the end of the 2024/25 season. Ajax Amsterdam paid €22.5m to make Haller the most expensive signing in the history of the Dutch Eredivisie. He leaves the Hammers after 18 months following his €50m signing from Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.


Sebastien Haller already made his debut for Ajax Amsterdam in the 2-2 draw at home to title rivals PSV Eindhoven in a Dutch Eredivisie clash.
