UNITED: WORK PERMIT MIGHT STOP RVP

Dutchman Robin Van Persie (RVP) might not be part of the new Manchester United coaching staff under Erik Ten Hag due to work permit issues. This is according to the report from Paul Hirst of The Times which stated thatRobin Van Persie could follow Ajax Amsterdam manager Erik Ten Hag to Manchester United if he's able to sort out his work permit.

It has been reported that Manchester United officials are keen to avoid work permit issues and they are already considering a possible replacement for Robin Van Persie. They had to go through work permit issues when Ralf Rangnick was appointed as the interim manager at the club. He could not resume in his position as the interim Manchester United manager until his work permit was resolved.

The possible return of RVP to Manchester United is said to have gotten the seal of approval from the players. It has been reported that the Manchester United players are excited about the return of the ex-Dutch international striker if his work permit is granted.
RVP is expected to be one of the assistants to Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United as from this summer if work permit doesn't prove to be a problem. Manchester United officials have settled for Erik Ten Hag as their next manager ahead of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Mauricio Pochettino, Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui and Spanish national team manager Luis Enrique.
Ajax manager Ten Hag is seen as one of the most progressive managers in European football and he has been able to achieve a lot of good things with the Dutch team. He was in charge when a youthful Ajax Amsterdam team reached the Champions League semifinals a few years ago by eliminating Real Madrid and Juventus. He was also in charge of Ajax Amsterdam on the way to winning the last two Dutch Eredivisie titles.
