Robin van Persie said that Manchester United was built to win?

Rio Ferdinand and Robin van Persie performed together in Manchester United from 2012 until 2014. According to Rio Ferdinand, one of the things that the Dutch attacker told him after completing his move to Manchester United and having spent some time in Old Trafford is that United are built for success and this is something that Arsenal simply isn’t.

The Sunday Times is a British national newspaper and the former footballer Rio Ferdinand has recently written an article where he revealed details concerning what Robin van Persie told him a few years ago when they both wore the Manchester United jersey.

“Robin said of United: ‘This place is built to win’.I don’t get the impression it was like that at Arsenal, and maybe the problem’s getting worse.”

Arsenal is a club that is consistently receiving critics due to their failure of not winning any real significant or major piece of silverware in over 10 years, the last time that they won the Premier League title was back during the season of 2003-04 and from the looks of it, the players themselves don’t feel like the club are going to be able to break this curse anytime soon or at least that’s what Robin van Persie hinted out as he talked to Rio Ferdinand a few years ago.

Robin van Persie is currently performing for the Turkish club Fenerbahce as he joined back on July of 2015 and is one of the most influential players in the entire team but has recently received a 3 match ban due to a controversial goal celebration that he did where he taunted the former Arsenal player OguzhanOzyakup during Fenerbahce’s Turkish Cup match against Besiktas which resulted with Robin van Persie scoring the only goal of the game and pushing his team to victory.
