RVP MAKES ARSENAL-CHELSEA COMBINED XI

Dutchman Robin Van Persie (RVP) has been named in attack as part of the combined team for the London Derby fixture between Arsenal and Chelsea. The combined London Derby XI was selected by his former Arsenal teammate, Cesc Fabregas. Spanish international Fabregas made the combined London Derby XI selection on behalf of BT Sports.

The London Derby XI was selected shortly before Chelsea and Arsenal faced off at Stamford Bridge last week Wednesday. At the end of proceedings, it was the Gunners who emerged victorious.

VAN PERSIE HAILS UNITED MIDFIELDER FERNANDES

Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has heaped a lot of praise on the club's current star midfielder Bruno Fernandes and says the Portugal international midfielder is a gem. WEST HAM LODGE BID FOR STRIKER

West Ham United have submitted a serious proposal in a bid to sign free agent GrazianoPelleto provide cover for the East London club in attack following the departure of Sebastien Haller. French-born Ivorian international striker Sebastien Haller has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Ajax Amsterdam until the end of the 2024/25 season. Ajax Amsterdam paid €22.5m to make Haller the most expensive signing in the history of the Dutch Eredivisie. He leaves the Hammers after 18 months following his €50m signing from Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.


Sebastien Haller already made his debut for Ajax Amsterdam in the 2-2 draw at home to title rivals PSV Eindhoven in a Dutch Eredivisie clash.
